Osaka to Kyoto

Leave Osaka and head north-east along the Yodogawa river into the heart of the underrated Uji. Swing by the Byodoin Temple and then continue into the heart of Kyoto. Do some geisha spotting over a latte or macha tea before heading to the magnificent Arashiyama. One of the top travel destinations in Japan and rightfully so, take in the beauty of the river town, the bamboo forrest and the unique Japanese atmosphere.
