Touring Bike Rental
Touring Japan on touring bikes is a beautiful way to see the country. We use a sturdy and smooth Trek bike which can be loaded up with Ortlieb panniers to give you the room you need to store your gear.
Just send us your heights, desired cycling dates and whether you will also need panniers. Some cyclists bring their own panniers which is also completely fine, most panniers will fit on our racks without any problems.
Some things included...
Our bikes can be equipped with rear racks so you can load up your own panniers or rent them from us.
Puncture Resistant Tires
Our bikes come with puncture resistant tires so you can spend more time cycling and less time repairing.
All bikes come with a lock so you can secure your wheels while you take a much-needed pit stop.
Front & Rear Lights
We have front and rear lights to help you be as visible and as safe as possible while on the road.
Discover spectacular scenery, experience exceptional food and fall in love with Japanese culture.
What People Love about us
I can’t recommend Globalwheels strongly enough. I rented a touring bike from them for a week in late November. Gareth was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me some great tips for warmup routes around Osaka, as well as a couple of longer routes around Asuka, Kyoto, and Lake Biwa.
Amazing experience of cycling with Ian. You get to know the city a bit and being able to cycle in a foreign country with someone speaks a shared language is amazing. Most importantly, their rentals are road bikes! All in all, great guys, great service, great experience.
I found Globalwheels online with amazing reviews. I emailed them and got a response really fast. They were amazing. Responded to all my questions and even switched out the stem before I got there for a shorter one. They had a range of bikes and two in smaller sizes which is what I needed. They are located right beside the train station which made picking up the bike super easy.
